Account Levels |
NNF/NNM offers different levels of membership, such as Light, PaceSetter and Master. These levels of membership are also referred to as Subscription and Account Levels |

Antivirus |
This is a software program that is designed to protect your machine against computer viruses. Computers viruses are spread by email, loading unsecured or second hand programs and by visiting unfamiliar websites that are infected. In many cases these websites are designed deliberately to spread a virus. |

Autoresponders |
An Autoresponder is a program that automatically sends an email or message. A good example is when you purchase something online, a receipt for the transaction is automatically sent via email. |
|
BLOG (Private or Public) |
BLOG is short for Web-Log. A BLOG in very much like a journal but instead of being on paper it kept online. Think of it as an email that you publish instead of sending to another. Others may visit your BLOG to see the latest entry. BLOGS have been used as online diaries, ways to communicate information to friends and business associates or even to publish news and upcoming events.
Clicking on the My BLOGS tab will take you to your BLOG Central Page. Here you may choose from 4 Privacy Setting:
- Public - Viewable by anyone
- Members Only - Viewable by NNF members,
- Friends Only - Viewable by only your Friends
- Private - No one other than you will be able to view the BLOGS you create.

Broadband |
Broadband is a high-speed Internet connection. DSL and Hi-Speed cable provide consumers with this type of high-speed connection. Prior to Broadband Internet communication the consumer was limited to a slower speed "dial-up" Modem that utilized a regular telephone line. |

Biz Directory |
NNF provides members with a listing in the NewNetFriends Yellow Pages also referred to as the Biz Directory. If you do not have a business, you may use it as a personal listing. |

Club |
Clubs are special pages on the NewNetFriends website that are topic specific meeting places, discussion rooms or just places to share your views on a topic. They are also referred to as discussion groups and networks. Clubs are places to exchange information, ideas, opinions, and also places to meet and interact other members who share your interests. From personal clubs like spirituality, dancing, writing, health, movies and prime time TV shows to business clubs that talk about BLOGS, new opportunities and marketing. There is a club for everyone's taste. |

Community/Event Calendar |
This is an Event Calendar that members may use to notify others of the dates and times for important events, i.e. a teleconference or virtual training session. The Events Tabs located along the top of every page will bring you to the Event (community) Calendar. The Calendar also includes an R.S.V.P. feature that provides members who wish to attend the opportunity to reserve their space. We recommend that you use it. |

Community Photo/ Gallery Closet Critic |
This is a place where members may upload and share photos with others. The Closet Critic allows viewers to rate the photos from 1 to 10. This is a great way to introduce your friends, family and associates to the NNF/NNM community. |

Contacts |
Contacts is a broad term used to describe all of the people you know and for whom you have contact info. Your Contacts can become your friends within NewNetFriends and NewNetMail. |
|
Courier |
The NewNetMail Courier™ is your very own personal iCorr (NNM Messages or correspondence) reader, writer and manager. Instead of having to log in to the website to read your mail, Courier automatically downloads your private messages and stores it on your hard drive. Create as many folders as you need to store important letters. It even automatically checks your NewNetMail and notifies you when you have new messages in your Inbox. |

Customize Your Profile |
The profile (the all about you page) is created by you, edited, updated and customizes by you. You enter all the information and may change it at anytime. Your profile also has a privacy features listed under the Privacy Settings tab allows you to control the information that is viewable by other NNF/NNM members. |

Cycle |
Cycles are used within our member referral program. At NNF/NNM we believe in thanking our members when they bring their friends family and associates. For more info take the tour and click on the Happy Cash link. |

Founders |
Founders are a group of members who have contributed funds, time and resources to support the NNF Community. In exchange Founders receive special recognition, benefits, and prestige as leaders in the community at large. |

FreeStoreClub, a sister company, provides its members with a fully enabled e-commerce web store, offering a wide variety of products at wholesale prices. FSC has been around for more than four years. If you would like more information send an iCorr to FreeStoreClub. No permission needed. |

iCorr |
Internet Correspondence - A Message sent through our private messaging system (New Net Mail) is referred to as an iCorr. When you are using old fashioned email, you refer to messages sent as email. |

Link Bars or Navigation Bars |
The Link Bars or Navigation Bars provides quick access to the important sections of your NNF website (portal) There are 2 bars, one bar runs vertically down the left side of the page and another that resembles tabs appears across the top of each page. |

Mailbox |
Your Mailbox is your message center. You have an inbox where you will find messages sent to you. It is just like your old email accounts as there are sent folders, address books and other folders to store and organize your messages. |

Modems |
An external or internal hardware unit that connects a computer to another computer or to the Internet over a phone line or other connection. |

My Friends |
People who you have chosen to be your Friends in the NNF community. These people will also appear in your message center address book. Clicking on this link will display your friends, friends of friends, recent friends and also provides friend management tools such. You may hide friends from public view, block and delete friends with whom you no longer communicate. |

My Friends of Friends |
These are the friends of the members you have added to your friends list. |
|
My GuestBook |
Your GuestBook is a place where people may leave you a message or to let you know that they stopped by to visit. This is similar to a guest book that you would fill out at a wedding or business meeting. Members may leave you a note saying hello or even request that you contact them. |

My Messages |
My messages will bring you to your mailbox. The terms mail and messages are used interchangeably. |

My Stuff |
This is like your Desktop or Command Center. From here you have access to your friends, guest book, Message Center (NNM), latest announcements/messages, links to your clubs and much more. This is your Stuff and no one sees this section but you. |

NewNetFriends is the name our Our State of the Art Online Community |

NewNetMail is the name our Our State of the Art Private Message System. |

Old Fashioned Email |
Old-fashioned email is our way of referring to the antiquated public email system while comparing it to NewNetMail's state of the art Interent Correspondence (iCorr) or Private Messaging system. Old Fashioned email addresses all contain the @ symbol. |

Optin Leads |
Opt-in leads are old-fashioned email addresses of people who have given you permission to send them email messages. In the USA it is illegal to send unsolicited commercial email to someone who has not given you permission to do so. |

Opt Out |
Opt Out means to request that your name, email address, membership or other relationship with a particular website or mailing list be discontinued. |

Personalization Features |
NewNetFriends provides each member with options regarding whether your personal information is displayed to other members, Blogs may be public or private, you may create your own welcome message and you may even hide or make private your friends. |

Premium Members |
NewNetFriends/NewNetMail is available to anyone at no charge. As with any Free online community, service or product, many of the premium services are reserved for upgraded or paying members. These members are considered premium members. |

Private club |
NNM/NNF members who have elected to upgrade their membership level have the opportunity to operate private or invitation only clubs. The type and number of clubs is determined at each membership level. Please review membership options for more information.
Private and Invitation only clubs may be used for advanced training, team advisory or information boards specific to an organization or industry, such as a CPA club or fraternity. |

Private Photo Gallery |
Like the Closet Critic/Community Photo Gallery members may upload and share photos with others; additionally; Upgraded member will be able to create a Private Photo Gallery that is only viewable by invitation. This could be used by an architect to make blueprints available to new clients over the web, a photographer who wishes to present proofs to the bride and groom for wedding album selection and even for family pictures that someone only wishes to share with other family members. |

Profile |
This is your About You page and your Online Business or Personal Calling Card. This is where all the information about you is listed. The about me section is the key to locating the people, relationships (Business or Personal) and the things that you are looking for. This is the first place other members will look in order to learn more about you. |

Search Box |
The Search Box is used to locate other members. |
|
Server |
A Server is a special computer that is connected to the Internet to which other computers can connect. Every website resides on a server. It "serves" the web pages that your browser requests when you type in a website address or click a link. |
